    Sounds really great.

How is the Strat upgraded? Pickups?

    Thanks!
There are a lot of differences from the previous Highway 1's.
I copy and pasted some highlights here....

"Thin-skinned satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, hotter and very distortion-friendly Alnico III pickups (that still sparkle when clean), and a reverse-wound, reverse-polarized middle pickup for better hum canceling. Other improvements include huge jumbo frets for faster action, bold '70s styling, a steel bridge block (more tone than the zinc version), and new colors."

Man that sounds pretty cool, I just wish the guitar had a little more "body" to the tone, but then it probably wouldn't sound like a strat anymore heh. Lovely execution though, I love that song it was a great take

Thanks...and I know what you mean.
I'm tempted to try out some Suhr pickups that I know will be fatter/fuller sounding, but I also really like these stock Fender pickups in this guitar.

I need another strat to experiment with. :D
