The other day - I got a coffee and a donut.
As I was walking out , I realized she had given me 2 donuts by mistake.

I went back to the counter - but she just smiled and said "oops..enjoy ! " , and started serving the next customer.
    Free donut - score :)

Today, my 8:30 client didn't show up - so I have a little time to relax, check TGP, etc.

Sometimes it's the little things that really help brighten your day.

Coffee with my wife before she goes to work and kids are still asleep. Now that school is out, she tries to sneak out without waking anyone up.

If I get to listen to music long enough in a sitting to get into the real meat of a good Grateful Dead song or all the way through a classic Pink Floyd album, I am having a good day. I am a stay at home dad with 3 kids... I hear a lot of Disney and Veggie Tales songs.

A clear sky at night to take my oldest outside with her telescope is a cherry on top.

At a gig, if I get the opportunity to develop a little musical feedback, my day is complete.

My happiness really revolves around family, music and coffee.
