It's been transcribed several times in the various guitar rags over the years. Most recently Jesse Gress included the intro in ' Five Essential JH Riffs' in the May '06 issue of Guitar Player.
Also i just luckily came across a copy of the Nov. '00 issue of Guitar World which has a trans of the live at Albert Hall version which is from the box set. Of course it's interesting to study both renditions.

    GuitarTone,

Thanks so much for posting the tab to Little Wing. I learned most of this song many years ago and never got off my lazy butt and learned the rest. This is just what I needed.

Now all I have to do is learn the rest of the other 30 or more songs that I never quite learned all of.

    Thanks again,

    D

Nice deal GuitarTone...keep up the good work.
Hey guys, I just finished learning this very tabbed out version, and it is DEAD on. Mr. Aledort is so good at tabbing out Jimi.
    Good luck,

There are a few very good Power Tab versions of Little Wing and many other Jimi songs. I find the power tabs to be generally more accurate than the regular tabs found on the web. In addition, the free power tab software allows you to hear the tab as it plays or even loop a bar or groups of bars. Power tab is WAAAY more effective for learning tunes note by note than just plain old tab.

The Strat "quack" positions 2 and 4 are out of phase.
