    I got the invite to do that show about 3 weeks ago.. hadnt played in probably 2 years.. threw a band together & had two practices to prepare ha ha!

    But we had a great time. Its the annual Johnny Cash bash in downtown Chattanooga

    Thanks guys.. its definately what I would consider a budget rig... But I think I found just the right combination that "works"...

    The Fralin pickups in the tele made quite a difference too

    One guy that was at the show wrote me a message on myspace & said it was one of the fattest tele sounds he had heard, rather than the thinner trebley type sound...

    I dont use too terribly much compression either, just enough to smooth it out... The combo I use is a rather dark sounding amp, the weber speaker has good bottom end & mellow tone..

    Basically the core sound is Tele with Fralins, guyatone comp, Tech-21 Comptortion (set with zero compression & slight gain).. it basically sounds like a very very slightly dirty clean boost... For overdrive the Xotic BB.. and a Rocktron Short-timer delay.. into the Epiphone Triggerman combo with a Weber
