We played for 4 years every Monday at an Irish bar with a beer menu doing this stuff. I thought we would get fired after the first night. Turned into a great scene! This was about 8 months into it. Recorded live to DAT and released under CD3 "Equation" but it's out of print. Here are a few clips.

Much different than the other stuff I've been posting. It's live and we're playing a lot more notes!

Love this! More notes is better. More is more!

Haha, yea Jostein. I guess it depends in the situation huh? Live playing is another ball game w/ the energy and what I love best. The other stuff I've posted has been more like session playing. There's a place for both but we had both barrels blazing (from all 3 of us) on most of this!!!

I really miss playing live more but am working on something.

    Thanks for listening,

    Chuck

Thanks Bandi, your zen clip tone is killer, even thru the iPhone it's coming through. In the hands of a great player = tone

Andy, thanks man. Love the piece on your FB page!

Haha! Thanks Doug...I think )(*&^@#^&().. I have one good one coming up on the 19th at the Madison Theatre in Albany, NY. It won't get recorded with that quality but I'll have a decent vidcam running. Looking forward to that.

    Thanks for listening my friends,

    Chuck

Glad you didn't. It looks like we sounded on that one tune! Not yet in NYC, just getting started with this new band. It may end up with me being homeless if other support doesn't happen but I have to go for it. It's all I know how to do. I was thinking that I could deliver Pizza and that's all I'm qualified for. Not even...I'd need training but I want to play this music real bad. Mike Stern just played at the place in Albany w/ Dennis Chambers, etc...It' a nice little theatre. Wish it was closer to NY. Hopefully I'll be working my way down. I have a guy on it to help w/ booking. I'll have this concert recorded and hopefully will lead to more gigs south of Albany. Woodstock area would be the first stop. Will keep you posted.

Will do Doug. Hopefully the start of something here. I have a couple more trio dates in June but again upstate. The 19th I have a keys and alto player joining in Albany. Will hopefully make our way south to Woodstock, etc... eventually to NYC-Jersey area. Need a little support and right place-right time (as always) but going to be playing live as much as possible.

Terrific Chuck! I liked all three tracks but the second one...man....free-flowing, tasteful burning on that one. Damn!!

Thanks Cliff, I'll have some new stuff soon. Have a couple of gigs and a vidcam. Will try to get them recorded better but I'll at least get that. Thanks for listening!

Appreciate the enthusiasm, thanks for the encouragement!

Thank you CF. I've been playing that tune (Backwoods Song from Dave Holland) for years, always fun.
    Thanks for listening!
