    Hey,

Here's a video of my band from our last gig. I'm really happy with the way my guitar was sounding, and the camera work is really good. It helps when a member of the band does video stuff for a living, and can hire a crew to do the shoot that he knows will do a good job. ;) The sound was recorded into ProTools at the same time, so we had good control over the audio as well.

    Here it is: Captain America

NOTE: The file is HUGE, about 48mb.

I'm the guy on the far right of the stage as you face it. I was using a '97 Les Paul Special that I bought here in the Emporium (thanks Stevo57!), a '71 Lead-stickered Marshall Super Bass, and a stock 1960TV cab.

Yes, the lyrical content is political. I respectfully ask you to please keep your comments to music and gear. If it veers off to the political, I'll delete the thread (if the mods don't get there first...). I'm posting this because I'm psyched at the way it turned out, not to start a political hoohaa...

    Enjoy!

Nice tone & playing on your part.

Cameraman didn't give you enough 'facetime', though. :)

Thanks. I joked with the other guys that my new agent has it on his radar to negotiate for more face time when my contract is up...

It was shot at the High Noon Saloon. The place has only been open for a year or so. It's in the old Buy and Sell building on East Washington. It's run by Cathy Dethmers, who used to run O'Cayz before it burned down...

It's a nice place to play, big stage, great sound system, nice ambience.

    Thanks, glad y'all liked it!

The whole gig was filmed, but this is the only tune I've seen so far. I'm hoping my mug is in more on some of the other tunes.
