I found this strat locally last week and was wondering what any one could tell me about it. It's got something very special about it but I think it's kind of ugly. Check out the pics! Custom order? Very cool

Too bad about the Kahler mod-I like the original bridges, but that'sa cool find!

Not ugly. That is what I see.;)
    Enjoy that one.
I like the beautiful imperfection of the burst. No robots.

I dont think it's a mod, it's a factory ordered guitar. I agree though, I would prefer the standard strat stle bridge.

I would call that one the "Hangover Burst". Cause the dude that painted it was partying the night before.

Kahler is not factory-the guitar originally came with a Strat-style trem, hence the backplate/through-body trem route.

I've gotta say, that guitar is nice and all, but I LOVE the way the velvet's been crushed into the silhouette of the guitar in the case... looks like a work of art!

Yeah, never seen that before. Looks like a guitar ghost living in the case!

That is very unusual wiring and switches for that guitar. Seeing three small toggles and a volume knob would be common. It does look factory. Do you have pictures with the back covers off?

Did it come with a tech that knows how to adjust that bridge?
