Locking Tuners: Better than standard at holding tune???

    All my trem guitars are double locking. My strats decked. If I were to get a two point floating trem like a Wilkinson/Gotoh I'd definitely want lockers and a well cut nut. Unloading strings from heavy trem use will unload windings on a post and cause tuning stability problems without a doubt. Now on a fixed bridge guitar like a LP they probably aren't advantageous. The set up, (nut, saddles) as others have mentioned, is more important. Bob

    Yes they work. They are higher end and more precision like front the gate. I've had good luck with them. Two of my guitars came with them.
