Logic 9.1 record arm button dissapeared

HI,
I just bought and installed Logic 9 yesterday. Updated to 9.1 this evening and at the same time recorded a guitar track in which I changed the mode fromNone to latch and since then - my record arm button for all my tracks are gone. i have tried closing and reopening Logic - I have restarted my iMac - nada.
I i let my mouse over over the blank space where the R used to be the record tag will appear like it used to when the R was there...
Any ideas?

seems it was the update and it was a common issue posted to the mac boards. Looking in preferences/audio and resetting the input device (in my case apogee duet did the trick.
