Delighted to see Jason's ad in the most recent Premier Guitar, with "Lollar" scrolled across the top of his new WR pickups. Anybody planning on ordering these? Would love to hear a report - could be reason enough to track down a decent thinline....

Hoping they'll be ready soon. I've spec'd them into a new build that is currently underway.

i own a Nash Thinline, with the current Fender p'ups. I will definitely be buying the Lollars as soon as they are available.
Really excited about 'em actually. I own 3 different Nash tele variations (an '52 with Lollars, an Esq with a Lollar, and the Thinline) and the Thinline i only like through one of my amps, and it's not my #1 amp. That sort of puts that particular guitar last in line....But i'm a big fan of the other guitar's Lollars, so i'm hoping for the best here.

cheers!

I saw these pickups and they got my interest. Are they supposed to be like the old Fender Wide Range pickups or an answer to the Fralin P-92? Are they standard humbucker size or Fender WR size?

Drop-in replacements for original/re-issue sized Fender WRHB's:

If I didn't have a pair of originals in a Thinline, I'd be all over these when they become available. Jason knows those original pups, inside & out, as well as anyone.

Maybe i should sell the originals in my '73 Thinline for $500 each and buy two of these to drop in!

Sweeeet! I can't wait to hear the reviews and some comparisons with the real deal. There hasn't been a real replacement for the WR humbuckers yet. hopefully these will fit the bill.
