London Guitar Techs?

    Need a setup and some fret work done in the London area (where I work) or down in Surrey (where I live). Anyone have any favorites? I realize most posters are probably US-based, but you never know...

    Yep, plus they have a bunch of cool old amps and guitars in there for sale... they can get pretty busy though (as you'd imagine). The other option is Ian Allerton (if you can ever get him to call you back!).

    I have gone with some other 'name' luthier/tech guys in London, but have had some some bad experiences - if Chandler's are so good I might check them out too, though they are a long way from where I live in east London!

    +1...in the UK, only Charlie touches my guitars nowadays. :bow

    I dealt with a few charlatans in the past before I took my guitars to him, and there is no going back.

    In fact, I need to book in one of my guitars for a re-fret and Plek soon :)
