He made a few mistakes, and admitted to it. You think I like waiting this long? I planned on having my Studio amp a long time ago. But it's not the end of the world. If he hasn't been cool with you I'd guess there's a chance it's because you were rude or something, because I've been nice to him and he has always been super cool with me, and it's obvious he feels bad about the delays. Go easy on the guy. It's Christmas! Be nice.

I deleted some posts here and am asking the folks whose posts were deleted to relax and follow our rules.

Thanks to your bump, I just unsubscribed from this thread. I lost my interest in the London Power amps.

Kevin had an interest free loan ( the full $1000 originally quoted ) from me for a few months, my fault for trying to capitalise on the good currency exchange rate at the time. To be fair, there was no problem getting the refund when I finally bailed out. It always struck me as odd that Soultone and Island amps, and others, were capable of turning the ideas into professional looking production amps, but the master couldn't get them built - citing logistical and supplier issues etc.

Ironically, in the interim period, the marketplace has seen a number of arguably more desirable power scaling amps appearing - so will Kevin sell many of his if/when they are actually ready? On the other hand, maybe there is more money in the books and licensing his circuits than in building and supporting amps?

The axe fx makes for an interesting comparison - infinite tonal flexibility at any volume you want. I would not be surprised if a lot of people initially interested in the London Power stuff have been more impressed by the progress made by Cliff Chase. I know I am.

yes, cliff seems to have been able to do exactly what kevin promised.
& with the frequent firmware updates, it's like getting a new rig for free
    every few weeks. :RoCkIn

2 1/2 years from the time of the thread start .... presumable longer, since it's unlikely the post was made the day of the announcement of the amp.

    Anyhoo, how's she sound?
