Lots of noise being created here in the second channel. Although I use a lot of pedals, with all of them off, there's a hell of a lot of buzz and noise there. What's up? I got it second hand, by the way, and it's been in my possession for about a month and a half.

    Hi Pbone,

I had a Lonestar Special 1x12 combo, and I too used a lot of pedals. I never had noise issues. 5, 15 and 30w modes worked great with no buzzy sounds, hiss or other noises. Effectsloop worked great too.

Not sure what may be happening with your amp, not technical enough to offer any insights. I'm sure others will chime in.

    Cheers,
    Christian

Bad tube? Is it a steady, consistent noise or is there any variation in the noise like crackling, sputtering, etc.?

    Sounds like a noisy 12AX7 tube.....try some Ec83 JJ's in it ...They're a great sounding preamp tube
