I got this today. 200 bucks. 1965 Gibson GA-5 Skylark. It sounds like Jesus. I found a guy in my area selling it off of craig's list.

It has a new speaker ( Mojo Tone) and new tubes. Again it sounds amazing.

Should I be concerned with the caps or other electronics inside?

What else do you guys recommend I do to make this amp last another 43 years?

Thanx, Brian.

Jesus is not an adjective for how an amp sounds.

If it's not making any unusual humming I think you're gonna be OK for the next little while. Especially with new tubes and speaker, but you could open it up to check the condition of the caps. Looks to be in really good shape, is the power cord grounded? Nice catch!
