Scored an Epi Jr head last year and I need a cab. Not sure what all I want. Here are my thoughts.
From what I gather, this head is really a rock n' roll amp, no jazz or fingerstyle applies.
If I go with an Epi cab, are they needing a speaker upgrade?
What if I go with a 2 ten cab? How is that sound different from a 2 12 or single 12?
I thought about going custom built and having a 1x10 and a 1x12 (like Gibson made with their Goldtone amps). Have the highs routed to the 10 and lows to the 12. Does anyone make one these?
