I've done an MXR 10 band in the loop for solo boosts and a Keeley SD-1 for OD boosts with my Budda SD30 II.

The Keeley is an older, noisy version and the MXR I want to use only to shape tone and add bass for more metal tones. I play in a cover band.

So what are some good replacements for both?

Boss GE7 is a pretty solid EQ IMO.
I have also used the Barber Direct Drive with my SD18 and it works great.

I have used a RC boost in the loop of my SD30 and it worked great. In front I use a Hotcake and/or TIM.

Try knocking out two birds with one little stone and try out a Box of Rock.

OD boosts- my SD18 loves my timmy and my hbod for rhythm tones. My boost is my SBEQ because of the tone shaping options, but for a solo boost I would highly recomend the Flying Dragon- its got a flat EQ response but the circuit creates a dynamic "ooomph" that i think is cause by the input load.

    so-

    rhythm od- timmy, hbod, fd2
lead od- zendrive, lovepedal E (sd-18 can be a bit dark, the E is bright enough to make it cut through a bit)
    solo boost- sbeq, flying dragon

I run a Fat Boost in the loop of my SD30II and get clean or dirty boost depending on the drive setting of the FB
