right now i'm somewhat torn between the BYOC based on the EA design and the stereo pulsar by ehx.

i'm more on the pulsar side because i want to be able to change wave patterns, from square to triangle wave.

but if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be rad.

my board looks like i work for ehx as it is. hah. the only non-ehx pedals in the chain are a ernie ball volume pedal and ds1 with 4 ehx stompies, guess it'll be 5 now.

I have an EHX Pulsar XO, which I highly recommend.

If you can save up a little more, you can get a Semour Duncan Shape Shifter Tremolo. You have the option of 3 shapes instead of 2. Also has a tap tempo feature.

The Dano Cool Cat Trem is very nice and reasonably priced. Very well made, TB and sounds great for $40.

Dano Cool Cat CT-1 tremolo. It sounds warm and vintage. I love mine.

I've got the Cool Cat Trem, but I"m bothered by a (real or perceived) drop in volume when the pedal is engaged. Does anyone know if there's an internal trim pot that can be adjusted to take care of that?

i've listened to demo's on youtube of each of the aforementioned pedals.

they all sound pretty good, but with that sound compression on youtube you just never know. dig the VL but seems to be about 50 bucks more than i want to spend.

that dano trem looks like it came off the set of star trek.

In the popular TGP fashion of only reading the first five letters of a long(er) title, I'm going to say "Get a Frantone Vibutron".

...but seriously, I'd also get the Voodoo Lab

You should be able to score a used Voodoo lab trem for about $100.

    Great sounding trem!
