Here's what I'm after, things similar to the soundtrack from Twin Peaks, and old 50's and 60's lounge or jump blues. Not sure this is the correct title, but I remember Danny Gatton mentioning something about this type of stuff on his telemaster video.

Doesn't have to be guitar dominant at all, horns, vibes, piano anything is good. Think of songs like "Night Train, Pink Panther theme, etc... Cool stuff with jazz infused blues I guess is what I'm after, it's not about showing off, it's more about cool atmosphere and rhythms.

Here's a couple taken from the soundtrack -

Start at 9:35 for the first one

Now that's a coincidence.
Yesterday I was listening to Blackjack, a tune of Clarence Gatemouth Brown and I thought that it sounded as something perfect for a Lynch movie and that I would have liked to hear more things like that, so here you go:

You might like Joe Jackson's Jumpin Jive album.

Pretty much anything by the Brian Setzer Orchestra

Do they need to be more well known songs, or just anything?

I really dig the theme from True Blood. Not exactly like you're looking for, but I think it would make an awesome bar song.

Here is one of Chicago's best kept secrets.

Keep them coming, so far Jimmy Forrest (more jazzy) is very nice, but the Bill Doggett is probably the closest. The newer "Bad things" is great as well.

I'm a big fan of Alex,when did he become a Russian guy?..lol
He was born in New York, moved out to the West Coast and played with some of the best out there.William Clarke,Rod Piazza,Lester Butler and 13.He does live in the west coast and Germany, plays a lot with Raphael Wressnig in his band in Europe.I don't think he has defeted yet though ;)

That's what the YouTube title said, I thought it was interesting.

Most of the clips have been jump blues, but based on the clips from Twin Peaks in the OP's post, I don't think he's looking for jump blues at all. Sound like he wants slow, smoky, beatnik jazz, or maybe some euro groove bluesy film soundtrack stuff.

I've always thought David Lynch should have used this unclassifiable oddity in one of his films:
