Hi Guys I'm Looking for a vox voiced amp or el84, hand-wired with effects loop and master volume amp with a 1x12 speaker combo.I use some dirt from the amp. As light as possible in this configuration. NOT looking for a vox ac4hw as they have to many issues and a 15 is too loud and heavy . I play Praise and Worship pop, rock with ambient. Thanks for all the suggestions in advance.

Laney Lionheart 5w... L5T-112. It is a heavy sucker, though... 42lbs. iirc... but it fits all requirement except "light."

Both Suhr and Carr have el84 amps in their product suite, but with different voicings. You can't go wrong in terms of quality or support from either.

Is the 12" non-negotiable? Vox has the AC10 out and it's pretty stellar for the price...

What sort of issues does the AC4HW have? Not offended, just curious (and somewhat disconcerted).

I'd love to try a Savage Junger 5, but it doesn't meet all your requirements. You're definitely limiting your options.

yep. I had one. got rid of it because of the construction. But it did sound nice. I'm looking for something that's going to last me a very long time. AC 10 is still trying to prove it's durability.

Winfield Amps. Really cool low-watt Voxy tones.

The Savage Junger is more of a tweed Princeton flavor than pure vox, though it has some of that extra sparkle to it.

MY AC4HW is dead quiet all the time, no tube rattle, no static, no sounds. It's probably my favorite amp in my stable right now, and I have a lot of amps both big and small.

    Don't believe everything you read!
