I am in a classic rock band that gigs consistently 3-4 times a week and while we have an extremely broad range of classic rock type music we are looking to add some newer stuff to our repertoire. We currently play everything from pink floyd to zeppelin to the beatles to the time warp to east bound and down....but the only newer music we play is a few sublime songs.

Im really only looking for 90's good rock songs or something similar that will get the crowd going. Preferably fairly easy to learn, dont worry about the vocal style because between me and the drummer we can sing just about anything. I know most songs from that era I just haven't even tried to play any of them so Id like a good starting point at least.

Before anyone asks we are only old fuddy duddys at heart as our bands average age is 24 : )

Thanks for the suggestions, ive definitely thought about some of those already, but Im really looking for specific songs. I need ones that people know are fairly easy to get down only because we already have over 6 hours worth of music in our pocket and adding complicated songs is difficult for me while trying to retain all that, work a full time job and gig 4 times a week....heh

I'm finding that a lot of people don't even know about Stone Roses. Brought them up in a few conversations this past weekend and people looked at me like I made the name up. Sad.

All of these are songs I've played that go over well or I've seen go over well.

The Band Of Heathens - Shine A Light

Female butts wiggle (FBW) around the house or rehearsal studio whenever this pops up on my MP3 player.

Blackberry Smoke - Good One Coming On

    Lots of FBW, see above.

Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go
    Discovered this one by accident.
Done even close to the record causes lots of FBW.
