loop station placement

    do you guys put them in the loop, out front,etc?

    at the end of the effect chain...but before the tuner

    IMO you want a looper as late in the chain as possible. For me, this is in the FX loop of my amp as the last effect in the loop.

    I knew that it should go last in the chain... but does it matter if the chain is in front of the amp or in the loop?

    I was thinking of having all of the boost / gain pedals in front of the amp and all of the mod/delay pedals in the loop with the looper being last.

    WHEW.
