Looper in Loop

I have a TC Electonic Ditto Looper. It sounds okay with very clean signal, but with any breakup sound the signal seems to clash or cancel out when overdubbing.

Should I be running this thing in the effect loop and will that make a difference?

Or is this just a cheap looper and I shouldn't expect toomuch?

From what you describe, it could be that your amp just can't reproduce all the sounds you're throwing at it, so you're only hearing the breakup. I have a Ditto, and when I have a super dense loop with a lot of overdubs, it starts to overload the input on the amplifier.

Perhaps a short sound sample of your issue would help, since I'm not entirely sure whether that's what you're experiencing or not.

Also, this is the wrong forum. This sub is for demo videos and the sort. You'll get a lot more hits if the mods move this to the Effects Pedals sub in The Gear section.

If you're using any amp breakup / distortion, then yes, your looper should be in your effects loop.
