    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :beer

WHEW! What an ordeal, but it made it! It sounds great, although I have to be honest and like my last one, say I think I prefer 50 watts more than 100 so far. Here is what it sounds like, what do you think? Its going to take me a while to decide which I like more, this or the Artist. For $$ reasons, I cant keep both. Right now, I dig both about the same, but this seems to be sounding better every minute I play it. In any case, its a KILLER amp!

Merry Christmas Tag! I have a Type 3 (partly because of your great reviews), but I love my Custom too. One with reverb and one without works pretty well!

I wish I still had a Type 3, and one of EVERY TwoRock. They make sensational amps. The Type 3 is EASILY one of their best ever.

It was yes. I had it converted to 100 watts, and Bill said he went through the entire amp and changed all kinds of parts to get it to sound as good as he could. I also had a loop bypass added which makes a HUGE difference. Anyone with a Custom should send it to twoRock to have that done. 20% increase in tone IMO. The funny thing is my First Custom had that stock. Who has that anyway? It was a member on here, and I will gladly buy it back.

Reminds me of an old SNL skit with "Pat": "I still don't know if Pat is a man or woman, but the sex is incredible."

Just 'wondering out loud' more than anything else BUT I have to finally ask.......

WHY does a guy that owns a Dumble keep buying "Dumble Derivatives" ( your term not mine ) only to sell said derivatives only to buy yet another derivative only to have that one modded only to..........?:nuts

I think I know the answer as I think we all do.

The "D Derivatives" sound so close it's hard to justify a $50K amp but you find a small percentage in the Dumble that makes you ALMOST think the Dumble is almost worth it.
    Right?
    :crazy
    :rotflmao

Anyway, all this makes for fun reading..............glad the amp showed up by the way!

    Merry ChristMAS everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's almost as if the value of those amps was being driven up by every comment from a non-owner. . .

    Hey, wait a minute!!!:banana

Merry Xmas Tag. Great clip. Do you know what transformer Bill put in the amp? Is it one that is currently being used in the Classic Series?

I'm still loving my Type 3 and Custom Clean but may need to sell the Custom Clean because I have a chance to get a '62 tele at a great price.

Nothing, but it is being used as a benchmark, so there you go.
Wish somebody would go after She Came in Through the Bathroom Window for a change, but whatever. . .

A "non-owner" of WHICH amp? The TWO ROCKS or Dumbles?

    Both, obviously.

    Yeah, I feel ya.
It all makes perfect sense if you were in early, pre-internet at least.
    Don't sweat it.
