Has anyone encountered anything like this: the Korean PRS I just purchased seems to suffer from a few very loud, bloomy frets in various places on the neck, but most notably G# (in two different octaves!) on the B and high E string. The volume difference is so big as to be unmistakeable whether on single note runs or in chords. When a G# is struck, the rest of the guitar just sounds weak by comparison. There are a couple of other notes that seem to be overemphasized as well, but to a much lesser degree. I've owned several other guitars and have never run into this problem, particularly from PRS. The guitar, by all other accounts is clean and well-made with the possible exception of its wavy fretboard grain. Does anyone know what might be causing this psychotic note bloom?
