Looking for some feedback on the Deluxe Buster. I am particularly interested in it's response to picking attack. I am hoping it will respond like a Deluxe- clean with soft attack- dirt when you dig in. Any other general impressions would also be welcome.
I played one of these at 30th St Guitars in NY a month ago. I had been messing around with a Vicky Double Deluxe and a DrZ Galaxie and the guys recommended I try the Louis. It had the most beautiful shimmery cleans and was VERY responsive to pick attack. Unfortunately I didn't get to really run it through its paces, so I can't answer your question specifically about picking. It was however, by far the best tweed of the three. It just had a sweetness to it.
