I also truly love my amp808 and les lius.

Private message Sean here on the forum. He also posted awhile back w his personal email. I don’t recall it so you’d have to search his content.

I don’t mean to insinuate that you haven’t thought of this, but at least one of my Lovepedals will not pass signal if engaged with a dead battery inside. That left me head scratching more than once. Just in case you haven’t checked the battery. Otherwise, get in touch w Sean and he’ll make it right.

Did you check the battery? Or are using a power source?

Thanks all... knew this would be the place to go. Yeah, I've tried all the configurations of new battery & PS.
Anyway, all is well. Wheels in motion to get it sorted. Much appreciated.

Thanks for asking. Surprisingly almost healed. Just a red welt with a dried up center.

Oh, you’re the person who bought that Guitar Center listing? It was brought up in the thread a little while back. Some of the Shampooies had noise floor problems. How does your sound?

    Oh wow and dang.

Just tried the Elephant man with a Strat and 5e3.

The tele prefers the I man.

Tele is a special case with Don Mare 0038 pickups.

The Strat is a 93 Pearl Burst Blue Strat plus.

Pretty close to the Clapton or Jeff Beck signature.

But I have been through lots of pickups.

    These are Fralin I think.

Any way. The E Man is rocking it hard. Major sustain and smooth.

@Glass Onion , is that the LP 5e3 or an actual Deluxe amp?

GL with your ear issue. I had a similar problem years ago caused by flying with a bad head cold. Not one of the fun times of my life.

A Lil Dawg 5e3 amp. One of the best amps I have ever owned. And I have a few great ones.

Yeah the ear is giving me hell. Hope to have relief next Monday when I see a specialist.

    Thanks again for the concern.

OK I'm not usually "that guy" in terms of food stories/porn, but we just finished a pile of rotini tossed with green beans and spinach sauteed in olive oil, caramelized shallots, onions, and garlic, with chicken meatballs made with Parmesan, garlic, onion, and fresh basil and oregano from the garden. And a really nice bottle of Chianti.

OMG. I don't want to breath cuz it might ruin the flavors still floating around my head.

Like plugging in an SSGG into an HSR3 for the first time.

    Heaven.

I think I'll go lie down.

Just plugged in the BOA. When I stack the two sides together, I get horrible screeching (similar to a microphonic pickup) if the gains are at noon or higher. If I turn the glass up, the pitch goes up.

I assume this is not normal, yes?

I even changed guitars to see if it was something with the pickups. Still got the same sound.

    The order switch
Flip it back and forth to see if it’s engaging all the way to one side or the other. Sounds like the interns aren’t fully switching the order of the two circuits creating a BEND like old school circuit bending noise oscillating pedals.

Forgot to mention, I did flip the order switch. Some settings are more screetchy with the switch to the left. Get noticable screech on both sides. :dunno

That switch is garbage if it’s screeching in anyway. It’s bleeding off The wrong signals into the input that it is supposed to be cutting off.

Flip it back and forth rapidly a few times to see if it will reset the contacts. Those are some really expensive pieces of junk 4pdt switch’s if they can’t even make the shipping trip. Let me know I got another here that I’m banging on and I’m seeing no issues.
