    Thanks @Jakeboy !
I was hoping you'd answer, I think I may have read a post or two about your love for treble boosters ;)
    I'll check those out,
Does the Monsterdrive or Chris's pedals work well with single coils?

The Catalinbread Naga Viper is my fav treble booster. It's very popular because it's excellent!

I tested that theory with my strat... compared a bunch of fenders some lollars and frahlins.. then I got the virgil arlos... no snake oil there.. they are amazing I'm very very happy I got them. Sometimes a thing is well worth the $. Cheap isn't always the way to go. Lollars and frahlins are great pickups... but theres a magic to the arlos to my ears. Only other pickups I'd like to try are the ron Ellis's. Maybe next month. (Not saying those pickups you got are bad by any means. Play what makes you happy I always say)

Still use my old old burst E. This round I want something less gain.
Wish there was seomthing that fell between a COT and low gain Zen...hmm this 64 custom deluxe is calling for it.

So what I'm hearing is you should have listened to me in the first place. ;)

I think there's more snake oil around pickups than almost anything else in guitardom. A good pickup is a good pickup, and it's not rocket science. I don't think there's a bit of quality difference between DiMarzio, Duncan or Bare Knuckles, for instance.

Are you talking Lovepedal or any builder? If you're opening it up to any builders, I just had pickdropper [one of the guys behind function f(x)] build me a mini rangemaster. Has a 3 way toggle, so it does full frequency boost as well. Into an overdriven amp, it's fantastic. I also have his mini Klon (minitaur) and a mini Clusterfuzz. He does fantastic work.

Just got back from hotlanta with my Tele.......Plays like a dream now.
RG's was very attentive, did some tweaking on the spot to adjust the action to my liking.
Saves me from having to F with it more at the house.
Played it for about a half hour in one of their rooms thru a Vintage Sound Tweed Deluxe amp.
Pretty happy....Now plays great all up and down the neck.
I don't know whether they were blowin' smoke up my posterior or not but....couple of the guys there were raving about my Tele, and asking about the particulars on it.

Indeed they do! Especially on a single coils neck pickup! A good TB transforms a normal Tele nec’ pickup. They are good on the bridge too. Be prepared to use your guitar vol and tone knobs.
P90s too. I had a Naga Viper and liked it too. It is unique in that it uses a silicon tranny and still sounds pretty close to a real germanium Rangemaster clone. That is very rare, IME. It also has a Heat knob which allows you to use it as a pure clean boost too. I like the original germanium formula better...a bit more raunchiness..but the Naga is good. Be advised all true TBs are noisy. Just t(e nature of the beast. You do owe it to yourself to try a Lovepedal WD or BBB cause the TB side is wonderful.

As far as Treble Boosters go, I think the Beano Boost is the gold standard; all other TBs are compared against it. I'd recommend you give it a try if you have a chance.

I'm curious about the Naga Viper.

I also wanted to try the Colour Boost, but, you know......
