    It could be late '05 to possibly '07. His first bursts were the same hand wired, but the board floated in there vs soldered to the pot leads. As long as it sounds good I would say you got a good one! Not that the new SMDs don't sound good, but they just lack the special characteristics as the older ones.

    looks very similar to the late '04 burst I used to own except that the inner back case had a sig

    I really wish Sean had something on his website about all of the various versions of the pedals. There's almost no way to keep track of them, or know what the real differences are.

    I think almost all companies could use this - some circuits have so many variations, it can be impossible to read a review accurate to a used pedal possibly 3 circuits older.
