I've got one and it's the best overdrive pedal I've ever played. It's that good. Transparent, cleans up the best of any pedal I've tried, and the simplicity of it all just leaves you with nothing to do but keep playing. Drives my 6V6's into nirvana.

Does the Tchula need a relatively loud amp to sound it's best or will it work well at low volumes?

I've found that volume isn't necessary as much as setting the amp near breakup. Of course this may mean more volume depending on your rig. I've run it with an attenuator with great success!

I use Tchula as a standalone drive and sometimes to push another OD. It bumped my COT off the board for good. Worth every $ in my opinion!

100% Praise Jeebus...This pedal is worth 2x as much....These are limited builds for Sean because in his words they are a pain in the ass...My eternity gets almost no play right now but when I stack these two pedals its insane....The Tchula is for me a more natural sounding boost with a can of whoop ass available too....

Thanks for the replys and info! I bought one used, should have it by next weekend. It was not cheap($325) with shipping. I tried to get Sean to build me one, but he is way to busy with other pedals at this time. I have an Eternity now, I am hoping the 2 together will be a killer combo!! My favorite setup now is a Fender Thinline Tele, my pedalboard goes: RC Booster, Lovepedal Eternity, Clark Gainster, Klon, Fulltone Supa-Trem, Line 6 Delay modeler into a Category 5 Andrew (great amp!!). I am going to have to find some room, but from the sound of it, I will be making room on my pedalboard for this one!!

    Hey Otis,

Reckon u will like it a lot!

At the moment I`m using mine 4 a boost after a few other OD`s like the KOT and a LDO...

It has a significant boost with the 1st switch selected and great variable tones with the 2nd... and Josh`s demo sold me lol :BEER

Badass playing always make a pedal sound awesome. Its a buy one and see for yourself situation or weigh it by the quantity of pros/cons comments made by fellow gear heads you trust/like.

At times there towards the last it sounded a bit farty or fizzy, but the first lower gain stuff didnt.

I wonder which "circuit" sean made this one from.. or if it was a freash start idea. Opamp based or no?

It controls the bias/gain on the evil twin side....I leave mine pretty much dimed for contrast and it kills...

I could be wrong, but I think actual production is less than 100. I just got one used yesterday and couldn't quite figure out what the knob was doing, thanks for the clarification!
