Had a ceriatone centura that did some nice things for my low mids, but it was just way too big for what it was giving me. So i guess i may be in the hunt for something klon-ish, but necessarily. want something low gain, sweet, touch sensitive, that can give some fatness to a strat. the dane boost looked cool the way you could add some lows, or a little tumnus, but that might be a little too much heft. what are you guys using for your thicker, slightly pushed tones?

Kanji loves Strats. The regular Eternity pedal is great with them too.

    KTR, Koko boost, various fuzzes.

    My strat is happy!

Having a DS40 helps though. But before that the Klon KTR was the schiznit.

A Robin Trower OD is also excellent for mid enhancing tasty low gain. If you like his tone.

I'm running a Prince of Tone into a Klon KTR
Either would work on their own for what you're trying to do.
In fact my Singer had a Cheap Junk Strat that Ted Nugent had signed & the guys in the Band wanted me to give it a go. It sounded very weak, clicked on the Klon & the Guitar was suddenly useable

Cmatmods Scenic Drive or Butah..... or Super Signa Drive but that is over and beyond what you asked for. Butah is the best bet from Chad.
    Mosferatu LG
    Subdecay Supernova
Allums modded Boss SD-2, although if you can get past a little bit of fizzy in the background then the SD-2 is great even without the mod. I think it's the best sleeper OD I've had in a long while, definitely under appreciated.

Another trick you should not overlook is putting a boost in the fx loop. Try that Spark Booster from TC Electronic. You won't be disappointed. I use a BBE Boosta Grande in my fx loop, but the Spark has tone controls.

Snouse Black Box or Timmy are my favorite low gain Strat pedals.

The lovepedal elephant man is a amz style boost that accentuates the lower mids

I came to say the same thing!

Lovepedal Elephant Man or Analogman Bad Bob will definitely do the trick. (They're based on the same circuit design, which is the Jack Orman fet booster. @amz-fx)

    EP Booster.

It's more of a clean boost rather than an overdrive but it thickens and sweetens the tone. It's the "always on" pedal!

Next up. EHX LPB-1. It's another "one-knob" pedal but it's warm and slightly hairier on the gain.

I’ve always loved my EP Boost for that, but there’s probably lots. It does amazing things to single coils.

I've always used a clean boost
Zvex Super Hardon or EP Boost
I also keep coming back to the OCD or BB Preamp

I've been through the same quest myself. Bought the ep booster first, it sounded huge at home volume but on the stage it was just too dark and bassy (even with the bright switch on). Then I got the greer lightspeed wich is also lovely at bedroom level, but it made me disappear in the mix (lack of mids). I also got the Ceriatone horsebreaker which is amazing (half klone/centura half bluesbreaker) that i'm still using snd loving (the bb was a great and very good surprise, great for low gainish sounds) but its a little bit too low midish. So for me after all this search the best option for what you are looking for is the Fulldrive2 on compcut mode. No other pedal i've tried can do what it does.
