So, the typical crybaby thing is the hiss in the front, toe-down position. Drives me insane, as I usually play clean. Tried the new Xotic...same problem, to same degree.

Is there a wah out there that addresses this issue?

I think every wah I have ever tried (and I've been through a lot) has had some sort of hiss somewhere in the sweep. I think the Wilson Wah's I've had had the least noise or hiss. Very clean sweep.

To be fair, there may be an issue with this particular xotic so I need to give them chance to look into it (and other than the hiss, it sounds excellent). But I'll bear that in mind....

Voodoo Lab Wahzoo comes to mind, though it doesn't have the vocal type of 'wah' sound, more of a 'wow'.

It has a unique design also, not the traditional pot style and other differences from the standard Crybaby style of wah.

    should've never sold mine...

Really? It's a shame, because the video on the xotic site makes a point of saying that it is quieter than a typical wah.
