Here are a couple of clips I made while testing out a new Edirol R-09 recorder. I had the recorder about 2 feet from the Lowden. Back behind the R-09 and to the sides were two amps being fed by a Kurzweil, Mangler, providing ambience from stereo tapped echos with the effects mix at 100%. The Lowden has an Amulet pickup system installed which provides a stereo signal. I was trying different compression schemes betwen the two clips so you'll see see the video quality dip way down in one of them, but the audio stays pretty consitant. Over all, I'm quite pleased with the R-09. The light plastic casing doesn't install a lot of confidence in it's durability, but the ease of use and the sound quality for a device this size is amazing. cheers.
