You are killin me!! hehe Luci------ you got some splaining-to-doooooo

I remember you said you got your new Tube Driver and you were going to make clips!! Done yet???? I am thinking about this beast, too. I need clips!!!

I how you can make 2-4 simple guitar only clips, into a clean channel simple Eric Johnson type setting, then balls out gain into the channel.

Maybe some other clips, with your tube breaking up and using the TD for a smooth OD and/or boost, then maybe another for a crazy hot modded marshall tone?

I hope the TUBE Driver will do it all, as my STage Hog very tweakable. I would definitely love the EJ violin tones that the TD NAILS, but I would like to think it can do other stuff well, too. Not just a one trick pony, type deal.

    Clips??? ;) plzz

Yo Cary ... I don't have the tools right now to make any clips on my own ...

However, I did have it on my board with a GSR right next to it at a gig that was youtubed this week ...
The fellow filmed us for about three or four songs...
Hopefully they were ones where I used the BK on ...
I should know in a week or two (maybe sooner) if he has put them on Youtube or not ...

Luc, so is the TD best for those EJ crunch tones or lead tones? Also, can TD be tweaked to sound more flat, and marshall-like, too or not?

Cary ...would say for sure that it's capable of Marshall flat like tones ....
With the bias knob it has an extremely wide range of possibilities ...

The Most Mesa Boogie like pedal I've played is the MI Audio Tube Zone
(a great pedal by the way ..) And the TD not only can do this but
it can also do the Marshall flat tone you speak of ...

With the twist of the bias knob it sounds like an instant Tube change ..
Moving one into TS territory, or even into just a boost mode ...

All the positions sound good ... so I'm a little confused right now
about which way I'm going to end up using it on live gigs ...

One way in which it beats out most pedals is touch sensitivity ...
The BK is very close to feeling like amp overdrive touch wise
(feels much like a Boogie's overdrive channel if you're familiar with 'em ...)

And Paul ... yeah, so far the GSR is still the sweetest sounding OD I've played yet
(though I was fascinated by smoothness of the Geek Screamer that Zucker demoed ..)
