Love this thing. As close to always on as I can get (I use a lot of pristine cleans). I love it for a 'pushed' clean with just a touch of grit. An it makes my amp get kinda tone-bendery when it's already cranked into saturation.

    Anyway, two questions:

    1. anyone know what the internal trim does? Mine sounds great as is, so I'm not gonna just start tweaking.

    2. anyone heard what the 2012 update will entail?

The trimpot is for biasing. There is no update, I'm replacing it entirely with a different boost, based on the Anderton Frequency Boost for thos familiar.

    Right on; thx Tommy!

How will your exciter differ from this one? Can't wait to hear your take on it!

Sad to hear that the 73 is no more. I love my two. Always on.

Ha! I was thinking about you and your two '73 boosts when I read that he was stopping production! Gonna get a third for back-up?
