Saw that yesterday while googling Jeff Sipes. We had stumbled into him playing lite music in a small restaurant on a Tuesday night in Hendersonville, NC so I researched his name to see who he was. The guitar player was Howie Johnson and I never caught the bass player's name but they were both very good too. Jeff Sipes was maintaining order with the trio by laying down a consistent groove that never overwhelmed the room but still had the intensity needed to sound good - a real pro.

I was really impressed how he held things tight, a real pro :bow

Sipe is an absolute master.
As is Herring, obviously.
