This one is being made by my very good friend/tech/guitar builder Erik at Lush Guitars. You could say it has been in the works for some time now.(multiple years) Not sure when it will ever be done, but that's the price I pay for telling him no hurry and knowing he always has a shop full of guitars that are pretty much all from pros/stars that you all have heard of. I pretty much knew what I was getting into when we started the project and he still does plenty of other work for me with a quick turnaround. This is a semi-hollow(my first), koa top (that will eventually be carved) mahogany back and neck with an striped ebony fretboard. Other cool touches will be revealed later. Inlays were done many years ago from Cliff at Shark Inlay. Each fret marker is a family members name starting with my father, mother, myself, wife, 4 kids and then my two brothers and sister's first initial. A family tree of sorts... This one is going to be really cool someday!
