    Hello,

Let me share with you one of the video chronicles I recorded with master builder Juha Ruokangas.

This content is normally available only with the Backstage Pass on The Guitar Channel as I built as an independent guitar media 100% passion based with 0% ads.

On this chronicle I asked Juha about thermo treated wood:

If you are interested in watching other chronicles with Juha, here's the list of subjects covered in the series:
    • Captain Nemo guitar update
    • Being a luthier in Finland
    • Favorite woods
    • Thermo treated wood (the video above)
    • Varnish, nitro-cellulose, etc.
    • Aging of thermo treated wood guitars
    • Pickups
    • Short or long tenon?
    • For or against CNC machine?

    Cheers,

    Pierre.

    Thanks Pierre for sharing.

I know this kinda sounds like advertising (which I know this is not the place for) but I'd still say a word about what Pierre is doing with his Guitar Channel. You need to look at it like what David Wilson does with ToneQuest Report - no ads - just high quality / in-depth content. You'll see what I mean if you register to Pierre's channel. I'm not talking about my own lecture, but all the content you'll find in there. It is different from the usual short vids you can find everywhere.

    Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice words. It means so much to me coming from a pro like you.

Looking forward recording another series of video with you when this one is online for all the episodes.

    Pierre.
