M13 FX Loop Help....

I need some help setting up some of my guitar gear. I have recently started playing guitar again after about a twenty year hiatus. When I played before I was in my teens and had no money for anything other than a practice amp to plug my guitar into. The grass is greener now and I have a line6 M13 stompbox modeler and have just purchased a Vox AC30C2 that has an effects loop. I was wondering if someone familiar with the M13 might be able to walk me through setting everything up. I tried setting it up myself and all I got was awful feedback. I don't really have a firm understanding of the fx loop and would appreciate any advice.... Thanks......

Hey. Thanks for the visual aid... It explains why all I got was noise (had everything hooked up bassackwards). I was thinking that I would use the first two stompboxes for fuzzes, distortions, and overdrives and then loop the last two for delays and Mods..... or should I just loop the delays in the last position and run everything straight into the amp?

I think you just have to listen to the mods in front and in the loop and see which you like better. I was going to run fx 3 and 4 with delays and mods thru the loop, too. But I have my fx routed 4321. Do I still select post fx 2?

That was my assumption as well but that is an awful good question. Maybe somebody here that is familiar with the M13 will let us know for sure...
