I'll take a guess. I'm always using the "new posts" button to see new posts here, and I see posts from the emporium, the pub and so on, well all new posts from every subforum. :)

As I understand some prefer to filter out the pub and emporiums and other sub-forums of little interest to them, and that's understandable.

Right, I understand hiding forums you aren't interested in, but I think he's asking about ignoring certain threads.

Ah yeah. I'm sure they'll come up with something eventually.

There is a plethora of idiotic, sophomoric, crap threads, especially in the Pub. Its much better to look at the page without having to sift through the garbage.

A constructive comment: I liked the old classifieds format of having only one line per ad, making it easy to scroll through many ads/page. The new format offers considerably less ads/page.
Other than that minor annoyance the new site looks great, thank you for your hard work.

You can set the number of posts per page in your preferences. Find your user name in the upper right hand corner and hover over it. Select 'Preferences' and set the threads, posts and conversations per page to something higher than the default.

The only thing that is bothering me now I that we used to see more topics per page in the topic view. It's down to about 20, but it seems like it used to be about 30-40.

I don't really have much to add, but I want to make sure that Brian and the rest of the TGP crew knows that I dig the new software, and I appreciate everything you guys do here. It's hard to believe that I've been a part of this community for almost ten years.

However, you guys have cost me a LOT of money. :dude

Thanks for the "LIKE" button, BTW.

I must admit, I really like it. It's a great improvement without losing what was so comfortable with the old. Congratulations!

Wanted to post a poll. I don't see that option when I create a new thread in The Pub.

I'm liking the new software - great work guys. The ability to just mouse over the Alerts is really, really nice.

I noticed something today with quoting pics - it used to partially display the pic in a nice unobtrusive way, but today I'm seeing quoted text like "attachment.xxxx" rather than the image. Is something new, or is it a function of the size of the image?
