So after a year of neglect, I started getting back into the guitar. After a while, I test out the pedalboard, and my beloved Super Chile Picoso isn't working properly.

I go on the catalinbread website and send em an email from there. Wait two days. No response.

I put up a thread here detailing my issues and asking for help. Almost immediately I get a pm from Erksin (an employee) telling me that he is sorry for the non-response, but their email server has been having issues and they will be happy to repair the SCP for me. Gives me an address, I thank him and send it off.

(My original thread was pulled due to a misunderstanding concerning me going against the rules and I was warned, but that was appealed and straightened out. Kudos as well to the admins of TGP!)

Over the next month, I would occasionally annoy Erksin with a PM and he always kept me updated on the situation. He was with me the whole way. Today he sent me an email saying that Nic has fixed my pedal and it's ready to be sent back!

So my pedal was repaired for free and is being shipped back. Not only that, but I had a representative patiently updating me and answering my questions over a month. I work with customers myself, and I know how irritating this can be.

Thanks Erksin, Nicholas, and Catalinbread (the company) for helping me through this! My SCP is in my list of top 3 pedals ever (number 1 is always changing) and I was thrown for a loop when it was malfunctioning (I believe simply an issue with the pot being dirty). Great pedal from a great all around company!

I can top that. I had a Semaphore that I bought used from a guy in the emporium that had a bad switch and Nic fixed it at no charge. A used Semaphore.

Nic and Mike are great guys and I love them, in a way one man loves another, never mind.

Thanks for the love folks. If it weren't for Mike "Erksin" being the lubrication between rocks and hard places, I'd be an even bigger basket case.

    Heres to you Erksin!

I usually prefer this type of lubrication myself:
