I hate the way these sound stock, but I want a FF in the FF casing. Does one of the big guys(Analog Man, Keeley, etc..) offer a drop in kit of sorts or can you just send your pedal in and have them mod it for you? I'd want a 9V tap too.

    Any ideas?

Also give Keith at Aramat Effects a call or email. He is very affordable and is building his buisness back up after a long fight with cancer.

I've found that replacing the input cap with a high-quality film cap does much to improve it and make it sound more "boutique-y".

I think Mike (analogman) does something like that were he drops in one of his circuits into the big casing... I'm not sure. Shoot him a PM or e-mail.
