This is an amazing and unique bass, built by luthier, Marc Rutters. The body is a double bound piece of 100-year-old, lightweight and extremely resonant redwood that has a subtle flame. The neck is chunky, yet incredibly comfortable. It’s a one-piece roasted maple neck with rolled edges and feels so nice (action is low: ~1.5mm G, ~1.9mm E). All the hardware except the tuners are made by Marc, and the pickup is a TV Jones Thunderblade. The whole bass resonates like crazy with great acoustic volume, which contributes to a lively and dynamic tone plugged in. The TV Jones pickup sounds thick and aggressive with a bit more balls than a Pbass. Condition is a solid 8.5/10--there are some chips by the truss rod nut as well as near the binding in some areas.

It will come shipped in a Fender G&G tweed case (also, comes with Rutters strap buttons and not the Dunlop straploks shown).

Wowza. I’d also like to point out, that While Marc is a great guitar builder, he himself is a bass player. His basses that I played were all top notch. beautiful bass man.
