I'm not a huge basketball guy (hate the NBA) but I love me some March Madness. Anybody see any sleepers/Cinderella's this year? I'm in Big Ten country and haven't seen it this good since the late 80's/early 90's. The defense during the Big Ten tournament has been impressive. Everybody's just putting the clamps down. I could see Indiana, Mich St., Ohio St, Michigan getting to elite eight depending on brackets. Anybody else stoked?

im stoked. though its a long shot, ive gotta root for the syracuse orange just as ive done for the last 30 years. they play in the big east championship tonight against louisville. we already beat them once this year, when they were ranked no. 1.

Don't count out the Florida Gators. Playing good in the SEC tournament.

i'm a wildcat too. 2 degrees from UofA. i think the bruins are peaking at the right time AND they are a little under the radar, might be the perfect mix to win it all. shabazz can really play and if he gets hot they will be hard to beat.

Hope they win a few games so they can put in new seats in the Gym and get rid of the bleachers!

Yeah I kind of wrote them off when they almost lost to Penn St. last week but they've looked really good the last two games.

Duke Alum here, sister went to Davidson. Bleachers keep the character, hope they never change Cameron even if I can't get a seat there as an alum. Good luck to your Wildcats!

They may be tops in the PAC-12 at the moment, but I don't see them hanging with competition coming out of the Big 10, Big East, and Mountain West.

This is the first time in maybe 40 years that i don't have an 'objective' opinion about who the Numero Uno team in the land is. (Used to be easy to just go with Ole' John Wooden).

There just isn't a dominant team, that I've seen as yet. I think the Big Ten is the most packed with top teams (hate to say that), so if I gambled for a living, I'd go with some team from that power conference -- but not probably Indiana or Michigan.
I always subscribe to one team "getting hot," which also means winning at least one game 'miraculously,' by sheer dumb luck, or by having the same officiating crew that did Iowa State-Kansas on their side.

Using that 'logic,' my bracket at work will probably go with somebody like Ohio State, Michigan State, or Wisconsin.

It could be easily be some team out of the blue, as well.

Gonzaga is always good, and this year is again. St. Louis is a team I watched today, and they are very good (and play as a team).
Kansas could win it, and it wouldn't surprise me at all, either.

College b-ball is a "coaching and point guard" game. The best point guard in the tournament will take his team a long way, if not all the way.
