There wasn't much research on here for the Marshall 1960AHW Cab.
So I took a chance and purchased it and I must say I don't regret it at all. Most importantly, What I really wanted to know is what speakers where inside them. Celestions website was quite unclear so I opened it up and took some pics for you guys that are in the market enjoy hope this helps. And yes it is real birch wood not plywood.

    Should be heritage 30's.
It's baltic birch plywood. Still plywood but very high quality. Industry standard for quality cabs.

thanks for posting. i remember a lot of confusion over which h30(s) were in these and don't remember what the answer was.
if one came up used and local i'd have to go get it. then i'd rewire it. :)

Is that cute little guy your tech?
He looks a lot like my son, who was always fascinated with my stuff at that age.

Yea he's my son. After doing this project of unscrewing everything on the back. He wanted to do the same. I quickly realized that ever 10 seconds he goes on his union brake and puts the tools in his mouth which made me realized now, I see what they make tool belts for kids. Off to the store to by him some.

Shouldn't there be 75Hz speakers in it? 55Hz used to be speakers for bass players

Your TECH seems to notice the quality :D
Very cute ! It's fun when they hang around dad for his GAS work !

Nice cab, I really like the 55 hz cones, they seem a tad less "mid heavy"...like everyone says..great with strats..Enjoy it !
