A couple years ago I sold my original and in awesome shape Marshall 2555 Silver Jube head to someone here on TGP.
He promised me 1st right of refusal if he sold it.
Of course he sold it and said nothing to me.... (he should be decapitated with a spoon; me as well).

Flash forward to now - perhaps a chance to make up for it.
Marshall reissued the 2555 as the 2555X
A Marshall 2555 Jube is a thing to behold.
It sounds pretty good at livable volumes but OH EFFIN MY does it sound killer when turned up.
It also peels woodstain off of paneling at that volume.
Too loud when I owned it, but after missing it - I'm now flexible.

Then, just when I was about to pull the Sweetwater trigger, along comes the 2525H mini, which somehow I just know will mate really well with my Marshall 1965B 4x10 cab....IF it really sounds like a Jube.
    It'd be the head.
The combo, although sweet, sounds boxy...
That said - 2525H or the full 2555X knot?
    I'm torn..

    Which one..?

Anybody try one - NAMM or something?
Does the 2525H really do the Jube thing?

    Help me ObiWan.....

Since the 2525 isn't on the market yet I doubt you'll get a first hand answer.

I have a 2555x but have never played the 2525C or H. The master volume makes the 100W head very manageable at lower volumes. It sounds good at home friendly volumes but obviously gets better as you crank it up. It's also huge and heavy. Maybe the 2525C is better, but I owned one of the original 50W Jubilee 1x12 combos and it sounded small and boxy compared to a good 2x12 or 4x12 cab.
