Marshall Cab Question

    I may buy an older 1960a cab from a guy on Craigslist.
    The price is $275 loaded. Probably not V30's but regardless, it's an older mono, 16ohm cab.

    Can you tell me things to look for to decide whether or not to buy it, or whether it's genuine or not?
    I will be trying it with my head.

    For $275 if it looks and feels solid and has Celestions in it... you got a good deal

    It's a real 1960A

    Great price
    Prolly has GT-75's in it.

    YOu can get Marshall logo's on ebay for about $20

    Yep, it's legit and most likely loaded with 75s. You can take a side handle off quickly and easily see the speakers inside.

    buy g12t75's are better than ya think

    OP here.

    Yep, Got it for $275! the outside is a little worn but it's loaded with 75's, and they're sparkly clean!
    Plugged my JVM205H into it to try it out. Sounds great!

    Stoked to finally have an official half-stack!

    Nice job, g12t75 is a good match for the 205h...same as my halfstack!
