I have the combo, but want to try an ext cab with it.
Doing it on the cheap would be good.

I saw a couple used 4/12's at GC, a Crate a Peavey and a cheaper Marshall.

    I need a 16ohm cab right?

    Thanks!

Yes the Class 5 combo only has a single 16ohm output.

It sounds cool through a 4x12.

I have a Class 5 head and prefer use with cheap cabs because cheap speakers are more trebly and the Class 5 is very bassy.

Which speakers are you liking the most? I've got the combo and it needs some help.

I have a 2x12 with Celestion V30 and donĀ“t like the sound. Have a death Smarvo combo that I use for cab and sounds great, but a friend give me another death amp, a Marshall MG50, now im use it as 1x12 cab, and for me matches with the Class 5.

I've played through celstion equipped Crate 4x12s that sounded great.. I had an old Amped 4x12 at one time.. that wasn't bad at all. If you are going Marshall, I would try to at least find one with white piping.

There's a Crate 4/12 used at GC for $99!! I thought aid try that.
    There's also a couple of Marshall 4/12's too-a 1960a and a MG???
    The 1960's are $450.
    There's Also a Peavy

I like Peavey 4x12s.. I don't think there is a speaker of theirs that I dislike. Blue Marvels are good ones! Maybe you can find out from the model # what speakers are in it

Sheffields are nice too. The 6505 cabs have those and i think some of the older 5150 cabs had them too, but I could be wrong on that
