Hey guys I ordered one of these and I am looking to find what Fender models are modeled in the Marshall Code series. I haven't been able to find any info, as far as I have found it has these extras
American Clean
American Crunch
American Overdrive
British 50's

Im just gonna assume, the British 50's is a 58 Vox AC30, but I'm unsure about what amp they may have modeled for the American amps. Could they all be a Blackface, and maybe Overdrive be a Mesa?

Other than that I can't wait to try fully explore the amp, I messed with one in store when they were first released and the Jubilee model alone was worth the price.

American overdrive is definitely Mesa inspired.

Frankly not sure which amps the American clean and crunch emulate; they're good sounding models but I use the Marshall models wayyyyyyy more than the American ones. (the Jubilee is indeed awesome, as are the JTM-45, Plexi, and JCM800 models).

I certainly think the American Clean is blackface inspired (probably Fender Twin).

had my code 50 for awhile now. first thing; turn down the presence & resonance controls in the power amp section. also, i replaced the stock speaker pretty quick, which was a big improvement (emi manowar, which i had laying around). besides my 80's metal cover band, i also do some jazzy solo restaurant gigs w/ a looper. the rock tones i use are jubilee, plexi, & jcm800, all thru the classic marshall 100w power amp and 4x12 sim. for the clean stuff, i like the clean american preamp & power amp, and NO cab sim.

would you happen to have any sound samples of the difference before and after? it did take me a little bit to figure out that I had to turn down the pre and res controls, I'm pretty used to the layout now. Some presets sound like they are a little muffled when strummed. I'm guessing its just the closed back.

I did this quick vid saturday w/ a looper & my code 50;
american clean preamp w/ onboard comp & delay, amercain a/b poweramp, and NO cab sim.
I swapped the stock speaker for an emi manowar back when I got it.
Filmed w/ my crappy Ipod touch.
