What is the opinion on this 4x12?
A shop near me has one for sale for $600
I believe it is some kind of anniversary model with English Greenbacks. It is the slanted one.
    Any help appreciated.

Without knowing any details, that seems like an excellent retail price for a special cab.

But I'm in Canada so my sense of prices is somewhat north of mainstream.

the bottom cab of the stack is pretty desirable. it's an oversized cab that sounds quite phat.

Why would the Marshall Jimi Hendrix 4x12" have G12-65s in it? That doesn't make sense.

It has the same speakers being used in the new Vintage Modern 4x12" cab. I believe they're calld G12-C's or something like that. A tweaked out Greenback.

I have heard one. They sound great and they have the G12C's that were designed just for this cab.
    Its a great sounding box.

Is this from the purple Hendrix stack from a few years ago, or the newer handwired series?

It says on the Marshall site that the the Greenback C is voiced like a G12-65.

Sounds like they're taking advantage of the recent boom in popularity of the G12-65.

I couldn't find it. I read the entire Jimi Hendrix amp description. Where do I look?

That's not one of the new 1982JH cabs. Can't make it out for sure but looks like a 1960TV w/G12M-25's. The grill cloth appears to be Bluesbreaker cloth, possibly salt 'n pepper?? Def. not the pinstripe of the JH cabs and is missing the 100 logo.

You might want to give ol' Charley a call for clarification on her.

Yep, that is a standard TV slant cab with UK reissue Greenback M's. The EC pinstripe cloth is set horizontal as opposed to the traditional top to bottom placement of the Hendrix 4x12's. False and deceptive advertising.

C'mon dude, its a used cab that a shop is selling as used. Maybe its a mistake.
