Love it. I just got a D42 last month - my first Martin, and she sounds better every time I pick her up.

I also have a Martin HD 28V which supposedly has the same bracing inside the guitar but they don't sound alike . The D42 has a tighter bottom end and more dominate higher register stands out more and the notes are very distinctive and clear very well balanced from top to bottom .
